I set to work and decided on a teapot card with a teacup tag hanging from the handle, unfortunately I wasn't that happy with it as I felt it was very plain.
I recently attened a workshop at a local craft shop where we made a cup-cake card, this had a little bit more to it so I set to on this one, unfortunately I mislaid the template that we were given so I drew around the card and made another.
I have used papers from the Dreams come true cdFree Romance and Blue Magic. I cut out the flowers from the paper in Blue Magic and put them on the card to cover up a 'faux pas'! I then cut out using scalloped punches the topper bits and then used Quickutz Daisy die for the flower finishing with a brad. I hand wrote happy birthday across the 'cream' and did a bit of faux stitching I edged each part with a brown chalk from Papermania which has some glitter in which doesn't show up but certainly on my worksurface!
